To open a Demat account in HDFC SKY online, your Aadhar card must be linked to your mobile number and your Demat account will be open in 15 minutes. Given below is a step-by-step guide of how to open Demat account in HDFC Securities Mobile App – HDFC SKY –
Step 1 – Download and install HDFC SKY app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Step 2 – Sign up by entering your details like email ID, address and mobile number
Step 3 – You will receive a 4-digit OTP. Enter the OTP to verify details
Step 4 – For KYC verification, enter PAN number, date of birth and submit to verify KYC
Step 5 – For identity verification, upload the front side of the picture of the PAN card
Step 6 – Next enter your name, your father’s name and PAN number
Step 7 – For video KYC, you will have to take a selfie and upload the image to complete the video KYC
Step 8 – Next enter personal details like your name, name of the nominee (optional), marital status, occupation, income etc.c
Step 9 – Enter your bank account details like the bank name, account number and IFSC code. Once the system run
verification of the entered details, it will send Re 1 to your bank account for verification
Step 10 – Select your preferred exchange – NSE or BSE
Step 11 – Select your preferred segment – equity, derivative, commodity, currency
Step 12 – If you want to trade in F&O, upload salary slip or bank statement of last 6 months, or the latest ITR
Step 13 – Next upload your signature and then click on the e-sign form
